The people in Egypt are under governmental siege. Mubarak regime is banning Facebook, Twitter, and all other popular internet sites... Now, the internet is completely blocked in Egypt.... the 3 mobile phone networks will be completely blocked. And there is news that even the phone landlines will be cut, to prevent any news agency from following what will happen.
Suez city is already under siege now. The government cut the water supply and electricity, people, including, children and elderly are suffering there now. The patients in hospitals cannot get urgent medical care. The injured protesters are lying in the streets and the riot police are preventing people from helping them. The families of the killed protesters cannot get the bodies of their sons to bury them. This picture is the same in north Saini (El-Sheikh zoyad city) and in western Egypt (Al-salom). The riot police is cracking down on protesters in Ismailia, Alexandria, Fayoum, Shbin Elkoum, and Cairo, the capital, in many neighborhoods across the city.
The government is preparing to crackdown on the protesters in all Egyptian cities. They are using tear gas bombs, rubber and plastic pullets, chemicals like diluted mustard gas against protesters. Several protesters today have been killed when the armored vehicles of the riot police hit them. Officials in plain clothes carrying blades and knives used to intimidate protesters. Thugs deployed by the Egyptian Ministry of Interior are roaming the streets of Cairo, setting fire on car-wheels as means of black propaganda to demonize protesters and justify police beatings and state torture
All this has been taken place over the past three days during the peaceful demonstrations in Cairo and other cities. Now, with the suspicious silence of the local media and the lack of coverage from the international media, Mubarak and his gang are blocking all the channels that can tell the world about what is happening.
People who call for their freedom need your support and help. Will you give them a hand?
The activists are flooding the net (youtube and other sites) with thousands of pictures and videos showing the riot police firing on armless people. The police started to use ammunition against protesters. 15-year old girl has been injured and another 25 year old man has been shot in the mouth. While nothing of these has appeared in the media, there is more to happen tomorrow. Will you keep silent? Will you keep your mouth shut while seeing all these cruelty and inhumane actions?
We don’t ask for much, just broadcast what is happening.

hold on, Egypt
I was still a child when our own government declared 'state of war' against our nation. I remember defenseless people demonstrating on the streets of my city. I remember tear gas and police bitting people on the streets. It was so scary so traumatizing. Every time I see such scenes on my TV screen, it all comes back to me. I know exactly how it feels like. Hold on, Egypt.

Yesterday spookie cookie took her brand new pro pencils, oil pastels and said 'now I am going to artist myself a little bit'. Kids- the way they use words - just ignore all the rules to make the message even more understandable.
anyway :) (my second favorite word is 'anyway')
I am feeling tired today. Of winter (why so dark why so cold?) of being a muslim alien everywhere I go... I', an alien here. I'm an alien amongst muslims here because they are all sunni and I'm a shia. And if I went to any muslim country no matter sunni or shia I'd still be an alien because I am Polish.
No matter which direction you turn, you will always have your khm, 'behind' behind, as some wise people say :)
I'm so tired of being alone.

me and the Great Chai Adventure
I am definitely a teaholic. I do not like coffee at all, I hardly ever drink it. most of times, in a cafe with good company, and I like it as a kind of dessert, must be very sweet, with whipped cream, milk and what else.
Anyway going back to tea.
In Poland usually we drink tea sweet and with slice of lemon. Yes, hot tea. In winter we add some raspberry syrup to our tea- very sweet and gives such a nice cozy feeling, one just has to think of hot summer day and sunshine while drinking it.
One of my favorite places in my city is Złoty Osioł (Golden Donkey), they serve tea with raspberry syrup and slice of orange. Sooo gooood :)
In India thanks to my ex I started to be addicted to chai, very sweet tea with milk. I loved it with some cardamom seeds added. A day without chai was a lost day. I suffered a lot every time I was running out of cardamom pods. No, really.
And quite unexpectedly- I stopped drinking chai completely. I no longer like it.
I have a half empty bag of cardamom and I do not feel like using it.
How strange is that?

spookie cookie
Spookie cookie is my all-times-favorite daughter, the only one to be honest ;)
She's 13 now and recently she dreams of becoming rock star, punk rock to be specific.
Sometimes she watches me writing a new post here and I always tell her- 'look, the whole world is reading about you'. And to prove it I show her the map with red dots. Brazil, Malaysia, Iran... all kinds of exotic places. Even Otwock ;) Spookie cookie enjoys it a lot, it gives her a sense of stardom lol. I guess.
To all the guys who make my kiddo feel special by visiting my blog and leaving red dots on the map- thanks a lot! :) May God bless you all.
