siedzę i myślę

i przychodzi mi do głowy sporo różnych rzeczy.

half the way

may God forgive me but even though it is July I live like it is the end of August, worrying about school stuff, and other things. whatever I do, I have the feeling I am not doing anything or at least that I should have tried harder, done more, subtle sense of failure hardly ever leaves me.
and sometimes I wake up being scared.

one thing keeps me going, the Ramadan, blessed month. Ramadan always brings good things, Alhamdulillah. Ramadan made me a Muslim after all. so let's wait for Ramadan.

hadisy

What is Faith? When your good deed pleases you and your evil deed grieves you, you are a believer. What is Sin? When a thing disturbs (the peace of) your heart, give it up. (Ahmad).

If anyone removes (one of the) anxieties of this world from a believer, God will remove (one of the) anxieties from him on the Day of Resurrection; if one smoothes the way for one who is destitute, God will smooth the way for him in this world and the next; and if anyone conceals the faults of a Muslim, God will conceal his faults in this world and the next. God helps a man as long as he helps his brother. If anyone pursues a path in search of knowledge God will thereby make easy for him a path to paradise. (Muslim).

He who goes out in search of knowledge is in God's path till he returns.(Tirmidhi, Darimi).

You have two characters which God likes; gentleness and deliberation. (Muslim).

People will not sit remembering God without the angels surrounding them, mercy covering them, peace descending on them.(Muslim).

He who does a good deed will have ten times the amount of blessings, and I [God] shall give more, but he who does an evil deed will have an equivalent reward of evil, or I shall grant forgiveness. If anyone draws the length of a span near Me, I shall draw the length of a cubit near him, and if anyone draws the length of a cubit near Me, I shall draw the length of a fathom near him. If anyone comes to Me walking I shall come to him at a run, and if anyone meets me with sins of the size of the earth, but has not associated anything with Me, I shall meet him a similar amount of forgiveness. (Muslim).

Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Will there remain any impurity on a person who baths five times a day in a river flowing in front of his house?" The people said: "No impurity will remain on him." Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "This is the effect of the five Salaat. By means of it, Allah Ta'ala purifies the performer of all sins." (Bukhari, Muslim).

If you spend (to help others), O son of Adam! I [God] shall spend on you.(Bukhari, Muslim).

Do not consider any act of kindness insignificant, even meeting your brother with a cheerful face.(Muslim).

If anyone keeps goods till the price rises, he is a sinner. (Muslim).

Among the believers who show most perfect faith are those who have best disposition and are kindest to their families.(Tirmidhi).

Do not ask for any high office, for if you are given it after asking, you will be left to discharge it yourself; if you are given it without asking you will be helped to discharge it.(Bukhari, Muslim).
The most excellent jihad is when one speaks a true word in the presence of a tyrannical ruler.(Tirmidhi).

If anyone who seeks the office of Qadi among Muslims till he gets it and his justice prevails over tyranny, will go to paradise; but the man whose tyranny prevails over justice will go to hell. (Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah).

The man who is most hateful to God is the one who quarrels and disputes most. (Bukhari, Muslim).

Shedding of blood will be the first matter about which judgement will be given on the Day of Resurrection.(Bukhari, Muslim).

He who believes in God and the Last Day should honour his guest; he who believes in God and the Last Day should not annoy his neighbours; and he who believes in God and the Last Day should say what is good or keep silent. (Bukhari, Muslim).

Feed the hungry, visit the sick and free the captive.(Bukhari).

Those who are merciful have mercy shown them by the Compassionate One, if you show mercy to those who are in the earth, He Who is in heaven will show mercy to you.(Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi).

The best house among the Muslims is the one which contains an orphan who is well treated, and the worst house among the Muslims is the one which contains an orphan who is badly treated.(Ibn Majah).

The believer is not the one who eats his fill when the neighbour beside him is hungry.(Baihaqi).

All creatures are God's children, and those dearest to God are the ones who treat His children kindly. (Baihaqi).

Touch an orphan's head and feed the poor.(Ahmad).

Adhere to truth, for truth leads to good deeds and good deeds leads him who does them to paradise. Falsehood is wickedness and wickedness leads to hell.(Muslim).

None of my companions must tell me anything about anyone, for I like to come out to you with no ill-feelings.(Abu-Dawud).

If you guarantee me six things on your part, I shall guarantee you paradise: speak the truth when you talk, keep a promise when you make it, when you are trusted with something fulfil your trust, avoid sexual immorality, lower your eyes and restrain your hand from injustice. (Baihaqi).

God has revealed to me that you must be humble, so that no one boasts over another, or oppresses another.(Muslim).

Avoid envy, for envy devours good deeds just as fire devours fuel.(Abu Dawud).

He who is deprived of gentleness is deprived of good.(Muslim).

Righteousness is good character, and sin is that which revolves in your heart and which you do not want people to know. (Muslim).

God will not show mercy to him who does not show mercy to others.(Bukhari, Muslim).

O God, grant me life as a poor man, cause me to die as a poor man, and resurrect me in the company of the poor.(Tirmidhi, Baihaqi).

Abu Dharr said: My friend ordered me to observe seven things. He ordered me to love the poor and be near them; he ordered me to consider my inferior and not consider my superior; he ordered me to join ties of relationship even when relatives are at a distance; he ordered me not to ask anyone for anything; he ordered me to speak the truth even when it is bitter; he ordered me not to fear for God's sake reproach anyone may cast on me; and he ordered me to repeat often, "There is no might and no power except in God," for these words are a part of the treasure under the throne. (Ahmad).

When one of you becomes angry while standing, he should sit down. If the anger leaves him, well and good; otherwise he should lie down. (Ahmad, Tirmidhi).

Abu Huraira reported God's messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as telling that Moses' son Imran said, "My Lord, who is the greatest of Thy servant in Thy estimation?" and received the reply, "The one who forgives when he is in a position of power. (Baihaqi).

Young man, if you are mindful about God He will be mindful of you, and if you are mindful of God you will find Him before you. When you ask for anything ask it from God, and if you seek help seek in God. Know that if the people were to unite to do you some benefit they could benefit you only with what God had recorded for you and that if they were to unite to do you some injury they could injure you only with what God had recorded for you. The pens are withdrawn and the pages are dry. (Ahmad, Tirmidhi).

Beware of the plea of the oppressed, for he asks God most high only for his due, and God does not keep one who has a right from receiving what is due. (Baihaqi).

Do not be a people without a will of your own saying: If others treat well you will also treat well and if they do wrong we will do wrong; but accustom yourselves to do good if people do good and do not do wrong if they do evil. (Tirmidhi).

Jabir said that when God's messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked for anything, he never said, "No." (Bukhari, Muslim).

Abu Huraira told that when God's messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked to invoke curse on the polytheists he replied, "I was not sent as one given to cursing; I was sent only as a mercy." (Muslim).

Hind, son of Khadija from her former husband, says about the Prophet (peace be upon him): "Kind of heart, he was nice and sweet-tempered. He never liked to displease or cause offence to anybody. He thanked even for trifling favours. He took whatever food was placed before him, without making any adverse remark. He never got angry for anything concerning his own person, nor did he think of taking revenge or letting down anybody, but if anyone opposed what was just and right, he used to get sore and helped the right cause with all his might. (Tirmidhi).
Fear Allah wherever you are, and follow up a bad deed with a good deed and it will wipe it out, and behave well towards people. (Tirmidhi).

Purity is half of faith. Al-hamdu lillah [Praise be to Allah] fills the scales, and Subhana 'llah [How far is Allah from every imperfection] and Al-hamdu lillah [Praise be to Allah] fill that which is between heaven and earth. Prayer is light; charity is a proof; patience is illumination; and the Quran is an argument for or against you. Everyone starts his day and is a vendor of his soul, either freeing it or bringing about its ruin. (Muslim).

Each person's every joint must perform a charity every day they comes up: to act justly between two people is a charity; to help a man with his mount, lifting him onto it or hoisting up his belongings onto it is a charity; a good word is a charity; every step you take to prayers ( i.e. on your way to the mosque) is a charity and removing a harmful thing from the road is a charity. (Bukhari, Muslim).

Whoever kills a sparrow or anything bigger than that without a just cause, Allah will hold him accountable on the Day of Judgement. The listeners asked, O Messenger of Allah, what is a just cause? He replied, That he will kill it to eat, not simply to chop off its head and then throw it away. (Nisai, Hakim).

Cleanse yourself, for Islam is cleanliness.(Ibn Hayyan).

Pride is to reject the truth and to view other people with contempt.(Abu Dawud).

When a Muslim plants a plant or cultivates a crop, no bird or human being eats from it without its being accounted for as a (rewardable) charity for him.(Bukhari, Muslim).

If anyone plants a tree, patiently protects it and looks after it until it bears fruit, Allah the Mighty and Glorious will count as charity for him anything for which its fruits are used.(Ahmad).

The Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked: "What is the greatest sin?" He (peace be upon him) replied, "To ascribe divinity to someone else other than Allah, when He is the One Who created you." What next?" the Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked, "To kill your child out of fear that it will share your food," he (peace be upon him) replied. (Bukhari, Muslim).

Shantaram

"Pewien mudżahedin powiedział mi kiedyś, że przeznaczenie daje nam w życiu trzech nauczycieli, trzech przyjaciół, trzech wrogów i trzy wielkie miłości.

'There's no believing in God...We either know God, or we don't.'

'The truth is that there are no good men, or bad men,' he said, 'It is the deeds that have goodness or badness in them. There are good deeds and there are bad deeds. Men are just men--it is what they do, or refuse to do, that links them to good or evil. The truth is that an instant of real love, in the heart of anyone--the noblest of man alive or the most wicked--has the whole purpose and process and meaning of life within the lotus-folds of its passion. The truth is that we are all, every one of us, every atom, every galaxy, and every particle of matter in the universe, moving toward God.'

'At first when we truly love someone, our greatest fear is that the loved one will stop loving us. What we should fear and dread, off course, is that we wont stop loving them, even after they're dead and gone. For I still love you with the whole of my heart. I still love you. And sometimes my friend, that love that i have, and can't give to you, crushes the breath from my chest. Sometimes, even now, my heart is drowning in a sorrow that has no stars without you, and no laughter, and no sleep.'

"Sometimes you love only with hope, sometimes, you cry without tears. Someetimes, thats all that is left, to cling together till the dawn".

"If fate doesnot make you laugh then you just don't get the joke"

'Luck is what hapens to you when fate gets tired of waiting'

" When student is ready, teacher appears"

"justice is a judgement that is both fair and forgiving....justice is not done untill everyone is satisfied, even those who offend us and must be punished by us....justice is not only the way we punish those who do wrong....it is also the way we try to save them..."

'It isn't a secret, unless keeping it hurts.'

"Politician is a one who promises a bridge even if there is no river "

'life is what happens to you when you are busy making other plans.'

'The only kingdom that makes any man a king is the kingdom of his own soul.'

'In theory, the slum doesn't exist, because it's not legal and not recognised'. 'We are the not-people, and these are the not-houses, where we are not-living.'

"there is no act of faith more faithful than the generosity of the very poor"

i wieprzowiiiiina :P

a więc, będąc muslim jedząc halal, jem zdrowo :P
